DESCRIPTION:LOCATION AND DATE \nCrisis Consulting International will present a 1-day Short-Term Trip Leaders Security Workshop at Lakeview Baptist Church in Auburn\, Alabama on July 18\, 2024. The workshop will begin at 8:15 a.m. and end around 4:30 p.m. Lunch will be provided. \nOVERVIEW \nThe Short-Term Trip Leaders Workshop covers fundamental security principles for individuals leading teams into\, traveling through\, and/or living and working in moderate to higher risk environments. Key elements of the training include travel security\, contingency planning\, situational awareness\, profile management\, counter-surveillance\, managing attacks and violent encounters\, and overland travel security. \nWHO SHOULD ATTEND \nThis workshop is ideal for those traveling to and/or leading tams to places with an increased security threat. This includes faith-based workers\, leaders\, mission and outreach pastors\, those leading or participating in short-term trips\, aid and humanitarian workers\, and the like. The topics in this workshop are appropriate for all levels of field experience and relevant for venues throughout the world. (Note: if you live or regularly travel within high risk locations\, it is strongly recommended that you attend CCI’s advanced Field Security Seminar. See CCI’s training calendar for seminar dates\, or email us.) \nCOST and DETAILS \nThe workshop cost is $195 (includes lunch and materials). A $45 discount will be given to those attending CCI’s Crisis Management Seminar on July 15-17\, 2024 at the same location.
