DESCRIPTION:“STRONG AND COURAGEOUS” \nLOCATION AND DATE \nCrisis Consulting International will present a 1-day Women’s Personal Security Workshop on 30 August 2024 in Cape Town\, South Africa. The exact location and other details will be provided upon successful registration. Lunch and two refreshment breaks will be provided. \nOVERVIEW \nThis one-of-a-kind workshop is uniquely designed to prepare women\, especially those serving in ministry and/or cross-cultural settings\, to enhance awareness and avoidance of potential threats\, and to mitigate and manage threats when encountered. The workshop will be highly interactive. It will be presented by experienced instructors with significant international experience in areas related to personal security. Topics will include: establishing a foundation and structure for a personal safety and security program; managing personal profiles; understanding and identifying threats; enhancing one’s environmental and situational awareness; and developing a basic understanding of personal defense options. \nWHO SHOULD ATTEND \nThis workshop is for women who wish to strengthen their understanding\, awareness of\, and skills in the areas described above. This course is especially designed for women who serve in ministry and/or international or cross-cultural contexts\, though any woman will benefit from participating. \nCOST and DETAILS \nThe cost for this workshop will be calculated in ZAR (South African Rand) and converted to USD ($) as needed.
