SUMMARY:Virtual Field Security Seminar
DESCRIPTION:CCI is pleased to offer a virtual Field Security Seminar (FSS) on April 21-23\, 2020. This seminar will be entirely online using Zoom technology; it will consist of three (3) daily 4-hour sessions (12 hours total)\, featuring various CCI instructors. The virtual FSS will cover the core teaching elements of CCI’s standard 3-day seminar. \nAn optional 4-hour Hostile Interrogation Management workshop (also virtual) will be offered on April 24\, 2020. \nCORE COMPONENTS \nThe seminar will cover the following core components: \n\nPersonal Safety and Security\nActive Shooters\nCarjacking\nHostage Survival\nConvoy Management\nVehicle Checkpoints\nVehicle Ambushes\nField Evacuation Preparation\nField Emergency Leadership\nTerrorism\n\nPARTICIPANTS AND PRICE \nThe FSS is oriented toward faith-based\, international workers operating in higher risk environments. All attendees must register using the link below\, and must list their organization name. Attendees may be subject to additional vetting by CCI. \nThe price for the virtual FSS is $195 (USD) per participant. Participants wishing to also attend the optional Hostile Interrogation Management Workshop on April 24 may attend both sessions for $250 (a $40 discount). \nCOURSE SCHEDULE AND FORMAT \nThe seminar will begin at 4:00 PM (US EDT / UTC-4) and end at 8:00 PM each day. Each hour will consist of approximately 45 minutes of presentation\, followed by 10 minutes for questions and answers\, followed by a 5-minute break. \nADDITIONAL INFORMATION \nA certificate of completion will be available to those who complete the seminar. \nAll virtual seminar graduates will be eligible to attend one of CCI’s standard (in-person) security seminars within three (3) years at a 25% discount. \nIf a registered participant is unable to attend some portion of the seminar\, CCI will make every effort to provide the registered attendee a recording of the segment(s) missed. (NOTE: Presently\, CCI does not intend to offer non-participants recorded copies of the seminar after the fact.) \nENROLLMENT MAXIMUM \nThe virtual FSS is currently limited to 40 participants. SUMMARY:Virtual Interrogation Management Workshop
DESCRIPTION:CCI is pleased to offer a virtual Hostile Interrogation Management Workshop on April 24\, 2020. The workshop will be a 4-hour online session using Zoom technology.  \nOVERVIEW \nThe Interrogation Management Workshop focuses heavily on hostile government interrogations. This includes interrogations that happen at street level as well as those in detention settings. Other types of interrogations and scenarios addressed in this workshop include customs and immigration interrogations\, airport security practices\, government checkpoints\, and hostage captivity interrogations. The workshop will include presentation sessions as well as some interactive role-play scenarios\, where participants will experience being interrogated in a hostile setting. The instructors who present this workshop have decades of experience in conducting interrogations and/or managing them – especially related to interrogation tactics as they relate to faith-based workers. \nParticipants must register using the link below and include their organization name. Attendees may be subject to additional vetting or screening by CCI.  \nWHO SHOULD ATTEND  \nThis training is beneficial for faith-based\, cross-cultural workers who live or travel in environments where there is a threat of government interrogation\, or who encounter regular government interactions (e.g.\, vehicle checkpoints\, customs and immigration settings). Others who would benefit include short-term trip leaders\, as well as church and agency leaders responsible for sending out workers to such settings to solidify their preparation and contingency planning process. \nCOST and DETAILS \nThe price for the virtual Interrogation Management Workshop is $95 (USD) per participant. Participants that attend CCI’s virtual Field Security Seminar on April 21-13\, 2020 will receive a $40 discount off the Interrogation Workshop (combined price of $250 for 16 hours of training). \nCOURSE SCHEDULE AND FORMAT \nThe seminar will begin at 1:00 PM (US EDT / UTC-4) on April 24 and end at 5:00 PM the same day. Each hour will consist of approximately 45 minutes of presentation\, 10 minutes for questions and answers\, and a 5-minute break. Approximately one (1) hour of the workshop will consist of (virtual) interactive role-play with participants. \nADDITIONAL INFORMATION \nA certificate of completion will be available to those who complete the seminar. \nAll virtual workshop graduates will be eligible to attend one of CCI’s standard (in-person) interrogation workshops within three (3) years at a 25% discount. \nNOTE: Presently\, CCI does not intend to offer non-participants recorded copies of the seminar after the fact. \nENROLLMENT MAXIMUM \nThe virtual Interrogation Management Workshop is currently limited to 25 participants.
