SUMMARY:Crisis Management Seminar
DESCRIPTION:Crisis Consulting International is pleased to offer an open Crisis Management Seminar (CMS) in Yaoundé\, Cameroon on February 5-7\, 2020. The exact location will be communicated upon successful enrollment. \nAbout the CMS \nThe CMS is a leadership-oriented course which provides participants with the knowledge\, skills and abilities to develop a competent security and crisis management program. Participants will be trained and prepared to serve on a crisis management team in the most complex and critical events. Core components of the training include risk assessment (including the use of EZRA*\, a proprietary risk assessment software provided to participants)\, developing appropriate policies and contingency planning\, understanding the present-day terrorism threat\, forming and leading crisis management teams\, and using a crisis resolution protocol to guide response to emergencies. Case studies and tabletop exercises are used extensively. \n\n*EZRA is a Microsoft Access-based tool. It is only compatible on Mac in conjunction with programs such as VMWare or Parallels. EZRA will work on any PC laptop with or without MS Access (a Runtime version of Access may be downloaded for non-Access installed machines). \nDetails and Registration \nThe price for the CMS is $495 (USD) per student. A $35 discount is offered to those attending the preceding Field Security Seminar (February 3-5) at the same location (discount taken on that registration). \nThe CMS will begin at 1:00 (13:00) on Wednesday\, February 5 and end around 5:00 p.m. (17:00) on Friday\, February 7. The course will be presented in English. \nHousing and Meals \nLunch and refreshments are included in the cost of registration. Housing and other meals are each participant’s responsibility. Housing may be available at the training site. Other meals will also be available at a reasonable price at the training venue. This information will be communicated upon successful registration and payment. \nTransportation \nTravel to and from the airport is the responsibility of each participant. \nFurther details will be provided upon registration.
