SUMMARY:Crisis Management Seminar
DESCRIPTION:Crisis Consulting International is pleased to offer an open Crisis Management Seminar (CMS) in Yaoundé\, Cameroon on February 5-7\, 2020. The exact location will be communicated upon successful enrollment. \nAbout the CMS \nThe CMS is a leadership-oriented course which provides participants with the knowledge\, skills and abilities to develop a competent security and crisis management program. Participants will be trained and prepared to serve on a crisis management team in the most complex and critical events. Core components of the training include risk assessment (including the use of EZRA*\, a proprietary risk assessment software provided to participants)\, developing appropriate policies and contingency planning\, understanding the present-day terrorism threat\, forming and leading crisis management teams\, and using a crisis resolution protocol to guide response to emergencies. Case studies and tabletop exercises are used extensively. \n\n*EZRA is a Microsoft Access-based tool. It is only compatible on Mac in conjunction with programs such as VMWare or Parallels. EZRA will work on any PC laptop with or without MS Access (a Runtime version of Access may be downloaded for non-Access installed machines). \nDetails and Registration \nThe price for the CMS is $495 (USD) per student. A $35 discount is offered to those attending the preceding Field Security Seminar (February 3-5) at the same location (discount taken on that registration). \nThe CMS will begin at 1:00 (13:00) on Wednesday\, February 5 and end around 5:00 p.m. (17:00) on Friday\, February 7. The course will be presented in English. \nHousing and Meals \nLunch and refreshments are included in the cost of registration. Housing and other meals are each participant’s responsibility. Housing may be available at the training site. Other meals will also be available at a reasonable price at the training venue. SUMMARY:Field Security Seminar
DESCRIPTION:CCI will hold a Field Security Seminar (FSS) on February 3-5\, 2020 in Yaoundé\, Cameroon. The exact location will be communicated upon registration. The course will begin at 8:30 AM on Monday\, February 3 and end at 12:00 noon on Wednesday\, February 5 (2.5 days). \nThe FSS is a field-oriented training for faith-based\, international workers operating in higher risk environments. Participants will learn about managing surveillance\, maintaining situational and environmental awareness\, and surviving violent encounters and coordinated attacks. In addition\, participants will learn to manage interrogations\, survive hostage events\, and learn the essentials of vehicle security (convoys\, checkpoints\, ambushes). A discussion of the terrorism threat to faith-based workers is included. \nThe FSS is presented by experienced global security professionals that are mature believers. The seminar begins with and is infused with a theology of risk. \nThe price for the FSS is $495 (USD) per participant. Participants may take a $35 discount if they also register for CCI’s Crisis Management Seminar at the same location on February 5-7\, 2020. \nHousing and Meals \nLunch will be provided all three days and refreshments will be available. Housing and other meals are participants’ responsibility. Both housing and meal options will be available at the training site (information to be communicated upon payment). \nCourse Information \nThe seminar starts at 8:30 AM on February 3 and ends at 12:00 noon on February 5 (a total of 2.5 days). The seminar incorporates classroom teaching\, table-top discussion\, as well as some practical exercises. Some walking may be required. DESCRIPTION:Location and Date \nCrisis Consulting International will present a 1-day Interrogation Management Workshop at the offices of Ethnos360 in Sanford\, FL on January 10\, 2020. \n_____ \nOverview \nThe Interrogation Management Workshop focuses heavily on hostile government interrogations. This includes interrogations that happen at street level as well as those in detention settings. Other types of interrogations and scenarios addressed in this workshop include customs and immigration interrogations\, airport security practices\, government checkpoints\, and hostage captivity interrogations. The workshop incorporates classroom teaching sessions as well as role play scenarios to give participants the experience of being interrogated in a hostile setting. The instructors who present this workshop have decades of experience in conducting interrogations\, as well as in depth knowledge of hostile government tactics as they relate to faith-based workers. \n_____ \nWho should attend \nThis training is beneficial for faith-based\, cross-cultural workers who live or travel in environments where there is a threat of government interrogation\, or who encounter regular government interactions (e.g.\, vehicle checkpoints\, customs and immigration settings).
