Rod Beidler | Board Chair
Before his retirement in 2018, Rod Beidler served with a major international mission organization for nearly 47 years. From 1995 to 2009 he was the organization’s Vice President for International Affairs. In this capacity he led a gifted team of veteran staff responsible for recruiting, preparing, sending, and sustaining more than 550 American missionaries who served in as many as 47 nations. In 2009 he accepted an invitation to serve as the President and CEO of Resource Exchange International (REI), an international HR development organization which he helped found in 1992. When he stepped down from his role in 2018, the Board of Directors granted him the title of President Emeritus. In 2021 Rod officially retired from REI but continues to lead in the implementation of strategic programs in Southeast and South Asia in a volunteer capacity. When they are in the U.S., Rod and his wife Connie joyfully relate to a community of Muslim refugees from Iraq, adopting and enjoying them as members of their own family and engaging with them in discussions of eternal spiritual significance.

 

Dr. Jason Peters | Vice Chair
Jason has been married to Kimberly for more than 31 years and they have five children, two son-in-laws, and two grandsons. He is a seasoned executive leader, currently serving as CEO of Amazi Water. Completing his doctorate at Dallas Theological Seminary in 2007, Jason qualified as a Gallup-Certified coach, is a retired United States Air Force Lieutenant Colonel, experienced trauma consultant and graduate of a clinical residency at a trauma center in San Antonio. Jason has participated in various projects around the world, serving in 51 nations. Jason and Kimberly co-founded EPICly in 2018, serving families, clarifying values, and repairing fractured relationships. Together, they are on the teaching team for the “Legacy of Faith” Retreat at Glen Eyrie, and Jason serves on the Board of Directors for GotQuestions.org and as Vice-Chairman of the Board for Crisis Consulting International..

 

John L | Secretary-Treasurer
John has served with CCI since 2004 and on CCI’s board since 2014. He served as CCI board chair for eight years. He is currently the head of global security, crisis management, and investigations for a large Christian NGO. John has served on several other boards, including (currently) with a Christian NGO that carries out leadership development in West Africa. John has served on the steering committee for OSAC’s Faith-Based Sector Committee. John has worked in the field of security for more than 30 years, and served as a reserve police officer in California for 28 years. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. He has visited or served in more than 50 countries.

 

Randy McAlister | Board Member and CCI CEO

Randy has been volunteering with Crisis Consulting International since 2015. He spent 34 years in public safety as an EMT, paramedic, and police officer. During his 26-year law enforcement career, Randy spent 14 years on the county multijurisdictional SWAT team, the last two as a team commander. He retired from his police agency as a Captain/Deputy Director of Public Safety supervising the criminal investigations division. Randy is considered a national expert on behavioral threat assessment and management and finished his career as a Task Force Officer (TFO) with the FBI, working on the Behavioral Analysis Unit’s (BAU-1) Threat Assessment and Threat Management (TATM) initiative. Randy holds a bachelor’s degree from Bethel University in St. Paul, MN and a master’s degree in Criminal Justice Leadership from Concordia University in St. Paul.

 

Mike Livingston | Board Member
Mike grew up in the Island of Jamaica. At the age of 17 felt a call to ministry, which he followed by getting his theological training at Fort Wayne Bible College in Indiana. After pastoring and planting churches for 22 years, Mike became the district superintendent of the western district of the Missionary Church, a position he held from 1989 to 2018. Mike is the founder of Stewardship Development Foundation, which later became the Christian Foundation of America (CFA). The foundation’s main purpose was to provide funds for church planting, stewardship education, and estate planning. Mike also developed a rebirthing process for churches that need radical surgery. Since developing this, Mike has personally mentored/coached several plateaued and dying churches through successful rebirths into healthy, dynamic, growing churches. Mike is a certified consultant for Natural Church Development founded by Christian Schwarz, and he serves on several other boards.

 

Yolandé Korkie | Board Member
Yolandé is the founder and Executive Director of Crisis Response Network, a South African-based non-profit which networks with grassroots partners globally to alleviate the suffering of communities in crisis in a sustainable and strategic way. She holds a master’s degree in psychology and is a pastoral counselor. She has lectured in the Faculty of Education at the University of the Free State in Bloemfontein, South Africa and she has taught counseling courses specializing in support of parents of children with ADHD. She also has expertise in equine therapy. Yolandé and her husband, Pierre, were involved in cross-cultural work for ten years before moving to Yemen in 2009 with their two children. There she was involved with humanitarian work at a clinic for widows and orphans and oversaw an equine center. She is best known as a hostage survivor, international speaker, and author of her book 558 Days, which was awarded the Andrew Murray Desmond Tutu book prize in 2017. 558 Days vividly recounts the turmoil Yolandé and Pierre endured as al-Qaeda captives to Al Qaeda in Yemen. Yolandé enjoys spending time with her two young adult children and cats, walking in nature, gardening, and the two spoilings in life: good coffee and dark chocolate!
